Looking Ahead to the World Dog Show 2028

The Russian Salon Dog community has reached an exciting milestone. With the breed now eligible to compete at the 2028 World Dog Show in Mexico City, we are thrilled to announce that Petit Bijou Russian Salon Dogs is already making plans to proudly represent the Russian Salon Dog Club of America (RSDCA) and the United States on the world stage.

Preparing for an event of this magnitude cannot be accomplished overnight. Every breeding decision we make over the next two years will be guided by our commitment to preserving and promoting the authentic Russian Salon Dog. Our focus will remain on producing dogs that exemplify correct breed type, sound structure, beautiful movement, stable temperament, and excellent overall health.

As preservation breeders, we believe that every litter should contribute positively to the future of the breed. Rather than breeding with a single goal in mind, we will be thoughtfully planning pairings, carefully evaluating each puppy as it matures, and selecting those individuals that best represent the Russian Salon Dog standard.

One special member of our team is already preparing for this incredible journey—Petit Bijou Autumns Golden Dawn Alina. As a homebred female from our program, Alina represents years of dedication to preserving this remarkable breed. We are excited to continue her development and hope she will stand proudly among the world's finest Russian Salon Dogs in Mexico City.

The opportunity to showcase our dogs on an international stage is both an honor and a responsibility. We look forward to sharing our progress over the coming months as we prepare future generations of Russian Salon Dogs for what promises to be a truly historic event.

The road to World Dog Show 2028 begins today, and we are honored to be part of the next chapter in the history of the Russian Salon Dog.
